The striking red tiles, reminiscent of the bold uniforms worn by flight attendants of that era, create a dynamic, continuous line that guides the eye through the space. This vivid shade is paired with rich Californian Burl wood and sleek chrome accents, evoking the refined interiors of first-class cabins while adding warmth and depth to the design.
The addition of the blue tiles introduces a cool, sophisticated counterpoint to the vibrant red, reflecting the balance between boldness and restraint in the overall aesthetic. Together, these colours anchor the space in timeless elegance while echoing the jet-set glamour of mid-century travel.
