Zip is born from the collaboration between Ceramica Bardelli and Meneghello Paolelli Associati, a new tile collection that boldly interprets the Author’s ceramic tiles covering. The extreme elegance of the colors, the simplicity of its design, the matt finish as well as the uniform surface texture make these ceramics neutral, capable of enhancing the decorative role of the grout, an essential component of the design of the collection. Thanks to its shaped edges, Zip expands the decorative system by incorporating the joint, making it become a creative element, as well as joining tiles. The grout, colored and shaped, becomes a graphic sign drawn on ceramic, thus creating a continuous surface. Covering and grout become interpolate, in a rhythmic game balanced between opposites: full and empty, concave and convex, color and neutrality. Zip is zipper, in all respects. Zip is ideal for both floor and wall covering. The color palette of the collection – from neutral to compound tones – has been designed to highlight the contrast effect with colored joints.
