Corrispondenza

Corrispondenza is a collection of tiles for use on the floors and walls of interiors, made from white glazed stoneware and hand decorated. Inspired by a collection of old, folded and yellowed letters that had been preserved like origami artworks from times gone by. The graphics for the Corrispondenza collection are born of the small daily gestures that enabled those stories to reach us. An almost drafted and imperfect design, authentic like the emotions that transpired from the written words, entrusted to time and distance.

The collection is a kaleidoscope of soft tones, expertly combined to compose countless small paper aeroplanes to which atmospheres, worlds and dreams have been associated. In the same way that a letter transports far-flung places and fragments of life impressed into the paper, Corrispondenza will introduce an echo of gestures long forgotten, but that speak of love, beauty and emotions into the spaces where the collection will take centre stage.
